Blackwood’s Blog Front Page

Diane’s Digital Discourse blog covers many of my areas of interest:

My travel,  the travails of getting there and the great things to see and places to eat and things to do.

Where ever I go, I visit museums. Obviously I have a “thing” about museums.  And Air Travel related museums are the one type I visit most. I have visited Aviation and Space museums all over the United States. From the picture above, I come by my interest in aviation from my family.

And to get help from everyone, my genealogical research where I’m having troubles filling in the gaps.  For example, in the header picture of my grandfather, Jim Grey (Pop)  with my Dad, Jay Grey (my Dad), my Aunt Dorothy and Edna (my grandmother), I know that this airplane was my grandfather’s and called the “Eaglerock”  and that it is a single propeller and the year is about 1943 but I don’t know what model of plane it might be.

Also, whenever Bob feels like writing a longer or more in-depth movie review than his editor can publish, it will show up here.

  2. Hello there! I could have sworn I’ve been to this website before but after checking through some of the post I realized it’s new to

    • Diane says:

Not sure what Thierry Valencin’s photographic art has to do with my front page other than the shared interest in photography. I did enjoy translating the sentence:
“Thierry Valencin, after passing various years in French Polynesia, decided to leave and go to Germany where he remained about ten years in Frankfurt and Munich, where he decided to start a photography gallery. At the gallery, Halfpipe, he got in touch with the cultural environment of the city, knowing painters, writers, filmmakers and actors, and especially, of course, photographers who encouraged him to try this art for himself.”
